Experience the wonderful world of tea at Holistic’s café. We offer the “real tea experience”, with good taste, good health, and relaxation as our focus.
The Holistic Tea Room
Tea Time – A daily tea time at our café may change your life forever. Come alone or bring a friend. You’ve probably heard that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, but may not be familiar with the great health benefits of teas and tisanes, especially when it comes to your heart and disease prevention. Not to worry; when you join us for tea, one of our tea experts will be available to answer any questions you may have and assure that your tea time with us is all that you would like it to be.
And how nice it is to be able to improve your health while consuming a beverage that is relaxing and tastes as good as our gourmet loose-leaf teas. Just in case you didn’t know, loose-leaf teas hold the essential oils in the rolled tea leaves better than the dust and fannings that are typically found in tea bags. The essential oils, which contain the flavor, aroma, and healthy elements of the tea, are released into the water when the leaves are infused (i.e., steeped). Since our teas retain more essential oils, you are sure to have an enjoyable tea experience.
In addition, we offer a café ambience that is relaxing to the soul, and very conducive to sipping that perfectly brewed cup of tea. And, as if that’s not enough, some amazingly friendly and positive people regularly frequent the café for tea, food, or one of our holistic health classes or services; so, there are some great networking opportunities as well.
Tea Parties – Gather your friends and family and join us for afternoon tea or high tea. You may choose the type of tea party you want. You may select our standard tea party (2 hours) for 8-20 guests ($15 per guest) which includes sweet and savory treats, choice of 3 types of teas, and a 5-15 minute tea presentation (client’s option); or you may decide to customize your tea party (price may vary depending of what you want).
Tea Tastings – If you simply want to explore the world of tea, by tasting a variety of teas and tisanes; join us for our customer’s choice tea tasting, for 2-20 guests ($10 per guest). You will have a choice of 5 types of teas to taste (one from each category: White, Green, Oolong, Black, and Herbal). A tea expert will be on-hand to describe each category of tea and the specific tea chosen in each category. Food may be ordered from our café menu, during café hours.
Tea Toasts – Periodically, Holistic Health Suite & Café will recognize someone who has been giving back to the community or who has accomplished something noteworthy, especially while overcoming adversities. Holistic will offer a tea toast to that individual. The honoree and his or her guest will be served tea and a light fare. The event is open to the public. All attendees will receive a complimentary cup of tea for the toast. The honoree will receive a certificate of recognition and will be posted on Holistic’s web page and FB page.
We not only offer tea by the cup or pot; we also offer bulk tea (2 oz., 4 oz., or 8 oz. bags) and tea ware (tea cups, tea pots, strainers, tea timers, etc.). Please stop in and check out our offerings.
We have a special going on for designer teapot sets; very nice sets with significant discounts. This offer ends when all sets in stock are gone.
Tea Services (Catering)
We offer tea catering services. Call to get an estimate for your event. A proposal and contract will be developed once Holistic’s services are requested. Generally, the charge is $2.00 per person, for a minimum of 50 attendees, if the client has their own food caterer. Holistic will serve tea and do a 5-15 minute tea presentation (client’s option). Your date will be reserved upon signing your contract and paying the downpayment.
We will offer several classes on tea, along with a variety of holistic health seminars and classes. The tea classes in session now are as follows: “Introduction to Tea”. The sessions being planned are: “Tea Beyond the Basics”, “Tea and Health”, and “Pairing Tea with Food”.

Gentlemen’s Tea Club
Gentlemen’s Tea Club is a group of men seeking to improve their health through the consumption of tea, while engaging in an active networking arrangement. The impetus for starting the organization was to give men an opportunity to take a break from the rigors of life and work and learn more about tea and other topics of interest to men, in an environment conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation. The Club has gatherings once a month, usually on the 3rd Saturday, 2:00-6:00 p.m. Each man is given the opportunity to speak for two minutes about whatever they desire. There is often a keynote speaker who speaks for about 20 minutes on a topic related to health or the well-being of men.
All men (18 years old and up) are welcome to join the Club. After the first gathering, which is free, the fee to join is $45.00. The fee includes free tea (unlimited) at each of the monthly gatherings and a 2-cup tea pot the first year of membership.
